Djo Takes Another Bite in Houston, TX!

Actor and singer-songwriter Joe Keery, known as Djo, took the stage at White Oak Music Hall Lawn on October 5th in Houston, TX, as part of his Another Bite Tour. Following his Back On You Tour in the Spring, the Fall leg of the tour is further supporting his third studio album, The Crux, following the release of The Crux Deluxe on September 12th. The moon was bright and full in the sky as fans waited in excitement for the show to start.

Keery opened the show with “Awake.” As he sang, the red lighting and fog created a moody atmosphere.

Throughout the show, Keery played a mix of old and new songs and took time to engage with the crowd. At one point, he asked if it was anyone’s first concert, and when a few people cheered, he dedicated the song “Roddy” to them.

Keery, widely known for his role as Steve Harrington in Netflix’s hit show Stranger Things, has also grown in popularity for his music over the years since his 2019 debut album, Twenty Twenty.

Excitement filled the air as it was clear that both Keery and his band on stage and the fans in the audience were having a great time. The crowd sounded ethereal as they sang along to “End of Beginning,” Keery’s #1 single, in unison.

Keery expressed his gratitude to all the fans who listened to his music and those who waited in line early despite the heat.

Keery left the stage briefly but returned as chants of “one more song!” filled the venue.

For the encore, Keery sang “Chateau (Feel Alright)” as the crowd held up their phone flashlights, illuminating the lawn. “Flash Mountain” was the final song of the night, his band re-joining him on stage.
