Sarah Kinsley Lets Emotion Flood Back In on the Fleeting Tour
Sarah Kinsley brings her atmospheric pop sound on tour in support of her latest EP, Fleeting, released on Feb. 13. Words and photos by Megan Eppolito.

Kinsley blends classical training with atmospheric pop, creating music that feels both cinematic and intimate. Her vocals are ethereal and angelic. Fleeting draws listeners into a trance-like exploration of love and heartbreak. On tour, the songs unfold in a dreamy, cinematic setting.
Houston, TX marked the tenth stop of the tour at the House of Blues Bronze Peacock venue with opener Girlpuppy. The sixteen-song setlist featured songs from Fleeting and her earlier work. The band walked onto the stage as the intro to “Truth of Pursuit” played, building the anticipation for Kinsley. Kinsley, wearing a long red dress and boots, sang her heart out to a lively crowd. The 200-capacity venue was packed. Fans even filled the entrance hallway—a sign of an artist’s growing demand.
Kinsley walked over to the keyboard to sing a series of ballads showcasing her strong, raw vocals, sending waves of goosebumps through the room. Throughout the show, the singer used a contact mic, creating a haunting, siren-like ambient effect for her voice. During “Karma,” the blue stage lights reflected off the disco ball, washing the room in a soft, shimmering glow.
The band left the stage when Kinsley sang “After All,” creating a moment to connect with the audience—her vocals sending chills through the room. She shared the meaning behind the song and how she wrote it at a time of heartbreak, but looking back, she doesn’t align with the meaning anymore, as she feels that love is enough. She connected with the crowd by creating an intimate setting and sharing the stories behind her songs—a special experience that fans will remember. The band returned to the stage during “Revere” as Kinsley remained at the keys through “Lonely Touch,” then got back up to the front of the stage during the second half of the song, where the crowd erupted in cheers.Kinsley’s performance highlighted her ability to translate her recorded atmospheric sound into a fully immersive experience. The energy in the room and size of the crowd reflected the growing demand the singer has. With many dates left on the Fleeting Tour, Kinsley continues to prove she has the ability to bring her dreamy music to life on stage.
