Samia: A Punk Ballerina in Portland, OR
On her Bloodless Tour, Samia played Portland’s Wonder Ballroom, twisting and twirling on stage while singing hit singles from not only her newest album Bloodless but from her 2020 album The Baby. Samia, backed by her band of four: Boone Wallace (Boone The Riverman Wallace), Ned Steves, Noah Rauchwerk (Wormy) and Darryl Rahn, played the almost 800 capacity venue into an indie-pop oblivion. Paige Fulkerson is a 35mm concert photographer, writer, and assistant editor for Indie/Alt Magazine. Through Indie/Alt Mag, she expresses her unconditional love for live music and photography while learning and growing as she goes. Outside of Indie/Alt Mag,  she is a Journalism major with a concentration in Photojournalism and an Art minor at the University of Oregon. 🎞
