This Church is for the Sinners! The Last Dinner Party in Portland, OR
Following the release of their second studio album, From The Pyre, The Last Dinner Party embarked on a North American tour, landing in Portland, Oregon, on Wednesday, May 20th, at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. The English alternative rock band consists of Abigail Morris, Lizzie Mayland, Emily Roberts, Georgia Davies, and Aurora Nishevci, all of whom play multiple instruments and harmonize with lead singer Morris. Following an injury to her back at the beginning of the tour, Davies, who plays the bass, had to leave the tour, which left many fans sad to see their favorite bass player go. The Last Dinner Party touches on themes of religion, love, motherhood, and femininity, and it is safe to say they are one of the biggest up-and-coming all-female bands of the 21st century. Paige Fulkerson is a 35mm concert photographer, writer, and assistant editor for Indie/Alt Magazine. Through Indie/Alt Mag, she expresses her unconditional love for live music and photography while learning and growing as she goes.
